I know I have been MIA recently, but to be honest I have just been trying to figure out what I want my blog to be about, what sort of posts I want to be uploading etc. In the mean time, I wanted to share with you a beauty/makeup haul of a few things I’m excited about!
Hey, I know I have been away from blogging since November, there’s no particular reason for that apart from I had no motivation or inspiration to post anything. But I am back and will be posting more often.
Since its the end of April I wanted to share with you some of the products I have been loving and using a lot throughout the month.
Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray – £22.00
This make up setting spray actually does wonders! Usually when I wear it my make up does not come off the whole day and whole night. Perfect for nights out especially!
Red Cherry Lashes #523 – £3.49
These are my FAVOURITE lashes ever. I only ever wear lashes by Red Cherry because first of all, they are super cheap only £3.49 per pair, they deliver within 2 days and they look great. Since I have taken off my lash extensions I have been wearing these lashes, since I hate mascara!
Geurlain Lingerie de peau Foundation in shade #3 – £34.00
This is the only foundation ive been wearing this month, it is high end so on the expensive side but its worth it.
Nars Blush in ‘Orgasm’ – £22.00
This is probably one of the prettiest Blush colours you will ever come across!
Hope you are all well! One morning I was watching my favourite beauty vlogger on youtube, Andreas Choice, who introduced me to the easiest home made DIY lip scrub and after trying it out myself I thought I would share it with you!
You only need 2 products for this lip scrub: sugar and olive oil. Super easy to make.
Add a tablespoon of sugar.
2. Then pour the same amount of olive oil.
3. Aaaand mix together with your fingers! Gently scrub your lips with this mix and then wipe off with a tissue. Repeat until all the dead cells have been scrubbed off and your lips are super soft.
You can make this scrub with coconut oil instead of olive oil if you have it at home! Also, you can use this scrub as a face scrub too to get rid of any dead skin cells from your face.
Today I am sharing with you my little perfume collection including some of my favourite scents.
Chanel Coco – Mademoiselle
This is currently my FAVOURITE perfume. I tried the small tester of this scent and fell in love, had to get the full bottle. It is quite fresh but sophisticated and sexy. Personally my fave perfume by Chanel.
Juicy Couture – Viva La Juicy Gold Couture
This perfume reminds me of the original viva la juicy (bright pink bottle), except this one is even more sweeter. If you love sexy sweet scents – this one is for you!
Juicy Couture – Juicy Couture original
I think this is probably my 3rd bottle of this perfume. This is the very first perfume by Juicy Couture. Can’t quite describe the scent it just smells delicious. I’d say its more of a love/hate perfume, either you absolutely love it or absolutely hate it.
La Vie Est Belle – Lancome
La Vie Este Belle is quite an expensive, French, best seller perfume. It is very sweet and elegant. Would recommend to anyone who likes strong scents.
Chloe – Love Story
Love Story is probably the only floral scent I own – super, super sexy, clean, floral fragrance. Something I would wear for an evening night out.
Some of my favourite perfumes that I do not currently own is DKNY green apple & Nina Ricci ‘Nina’ perfume. Deffo need to get a bottle of these soon!
Just wanted to share with you my recent beauty buys – new makeup brushes from BH Cosmetics. I got the 5 Face essentials brush set for just $12. Personally I think BH Cosmetics is the BEST brand out there for brushes, they are the super soft and last very long. I’ve heard about Real Techniques brushes but they are damn £20 just for 5 brushes!! I would recommend checking out http://www.bhcosmetics.com/brushes they have many different sets for great prices.
Having acne-prone skin I wanted to share my favourite skincare products that have personally helped me with this issue. I used to have really bad skin (around a year ago or so) and was always insecure about myself, never felt like going out because I felt like I will be judged etc. Therefore I know exactly how bad it can make someone feel – been through it all! So I’d like to share the products that helped me achieve clear skin. Plus a few skincare tips!
Cupcake face mask by Lush – £6.50
This face mask smells absolutely wonderful, of cocoa powder and fresh mint. I use this mask every 2 days leaving it on for 10 min. It washes away all the impurities and dirt from my face, especially from make up. This face mask is specifically targeted at acne prone skin.
Vichy exfoliating gel scrub – £11.00
I use this scrub twice a day, everyday instead of using a cleanser. You are meant to use it 2-3 times a week but I use it pretty much everyday – since I started using this scrub my skin cleared up and is looking better than ever!
Chanel Mattifying Toner – £30.00
I use this toner around 2-3 times a week.
Sometimes using the right products doesn’t always help so here are the most crucial skincare tips.
1. Drink as much water as possible. If you don’t drink water, don’t expect your skin to be clear. The more you consume the better for both your skin and hair.
2. Never EVER go to sleep with your make up on. Always wash your face with a scrub or cleanser before going to sleep. Can’t stress just how important this is!
3. Avoid touching your face with your hands, especially when you are out and your hands are dirty… imagine all that bacteria that is on your hands!
For the longest time ever I have been trying out and using many different types of hair repairing oils and products. (I have extremely dry and damaged hair from straightening my hair to almost every day, you could say the heat damage has done it’s job.) However no hair product has EVER made any difference.
That is until I came across the repairing oil by L’occitane. I used this oil after I washed my hair, applying it to my wet hair and once my hair had dried I was surprised at how soft and silky it made my hair feel. No other hair product has ever made my hair feel this way.
I paid £20 for this hair repairing oil from the L’occitane shop in Westfield Stratford. It was worth every penny – would highly suggest it if you straighten your hair often and have dry hair like I do.
