Having acne-prone skin I wanted to share my favourite skincare products that have personally helped me with this issue. I used to have really bad skin (around a year ago or so) and was always insecure about myself, never felt like going out because I felt like I will be judged etc. Therefore I know exactly how bad it can make someone feel – been through it all! So I’d like to share the products that helped me achieve clear skin. Plus a few skincare tips!
Cupcake face mask by Lush – £6.50
This face mask smells absolutely wonderful, of cocoa powder and fresh mint. I use this mask every 2 days leaving it on for 10 min. It washes away all the impurities and dirt from my face, especially from make up. This face mask is specifically targeted at acne prone skin.
Vichy exfoliating gel scrub – £11.00
I use this scrub twice a day, everyday instead of using a cleanser. You are meant to use it 2-3 times a week but I use it pretty much everyday – since I started using this scrub my skin cleared up and is looking better than ever!
Chanel Mattifying Toner – £30.00
I use this toner around 2-3 times a week.
Sometimes using the right products doesn’t always help so here are the most crucial skincare tips.
1. Drink as much water as possible. If you don’t drink water, don’t expect your skin to be clear. The more you consume the better for both your skin and hair.
2. Never EVER go to sleep with your make up on. Always wash your face with a scrub or cleanser before going to sleep. Can’t stress just how important this is!
3. Avoid touching your face with your hands, especially when you are out and your hands are dirty… imagine all that bacteria that is on your hands!
Hope I helped – thank you for reading.
For the longest time ever I have been trying out and using many different types of hair repairing oils and products. (I have extremely dry and damaged hair from straightening my hair to almost every day, you could say the heat damage has done it’s job.) However no hair product has EVER made any difference.
That is until I came across the repairing oil by L’occitane. I used this oil after I washed my hair, applying it to my wet hair and once my hair had dried I was surprised at how soft and silky it made my hair feel. No other hair product has ever made my hair feel this way.
I paid £20 for this hair repairing oil from the L’occitane shop in Westfield Stratford. It was worth every penny – would highly suggest it if you straighten your hair often and have dry hair like I do.

Illamasqa Sculpting Powder Duo – £26
I mean you can not see in the picture but the bottom shade is quite dark and is used for contour and the top shade is a beautiful shimmery highlight. Can’t wait to try it!
MAC Prep & Prime Fix – £15.50
I was in need of a makeup fix asap and so I popped into MAC and got it. Have been using it everyday since and can truly say it does the job. However you do have to spray it on your face couple times a day for your make up to stay in place.
MAC Matte lipstick in ‘Please Me’ – £15.50
That’s it for now dolls,
Speak soon. Xo
It’s been a long ass week, I have been busy working everyday and only got time to actually sit down and do a blog post this evening! I always get questions about my make up and thought I’d share with you the make up I wear everyday. Nothing special at all, as you are about to find out. I pretty much wear these same products every day, got me thinking that I need to start experimenting more!
I might actually take pictures and show you how I apply my face make up this weekend. Stay tuned. ♡
Chanel Vitalumiere foundation. – £38
I would say this foundation is medium to high coverage. I wear mine in shade 30. I wear it everyday, it manages to give me good coverage however I do feel like it comes off pretty quickly and doesn’t last all day meaning I need to re-apply it. This foundation does the job but I prefer Chanel foundation in Velvet Matte.
Kiko full coverage concealor – £7
I mean for the price this concealor does absolutely magic. I use it for my under eyes and use it around my brows to to define them even further. I buy mine in the lightest shade 01 as I feel concealor highlights and gives my face some life.
Sleek Shimmer and Highlight palette – £10
Rimmel Bronzer – £7
Firstly I apply my bronzer on my cheekbones and then I use the shimmer and highlight palette by Sleek. It does absolute wonders!! Gives my face this flawless, shimmery bronzed look.
2true Eyebrow pencil – £4
Dior lipgloss in 363 dormeusse – £22
Kiko super gloss in 103 Pearly Beige – £4.90
I’m more of a lip gloss over lipstick girl, probably because I am too lazy to use lip liner to draw over lips and fill in every day so I’d rather apply lipgloss. Also I love the super glossy lips effect. These 2 lip glosses are my fave.

I am a strong believer that positivity could go a long way and want to inspire young females to empower each other to be independent, dream big and work hard. I think females should empower each other instead of being hateful and envious of one another. I hope to send this message out to every girl out there who comes across my blog. ♡
With love, Gabriele xo
